terms of service

Effective September 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and Traceroute LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company ("we"). They cover traceroutehealth.com, the Traceroute app, and the Traceroute connectors for AI agents. You accept them when you first sign in. The privacy notice and the consumer health data policy describe how your data is handled.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and in the United States.

Your account

You sign in with Google; Sign in with Apple is coming. You are responsible for activity under your account, including what any AI agent you connect does with it. We send notices, including breach notices, to the email address on your account.

Your record

Your record is yours. You permit us to store it, calculate values from it, display it to you, and share it where you direct, only to provide the service. You can export or delete it at any time.

Acceptable use

Do not use Traceroute to store genetic data, including genetic test results.
Do not publish content that is unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights.
Do not try to access other people's data, disrupt the service, or get around its security.

We do not inspect the contents of your record or search it for violations. We act on violations we become aware of.

Published pages

A page you publish is visible to anyone with its link. You are responsible for what you publish, and you permit us to host and display it until you unpublish it. We may unpublish a page that violates these terms or the law. Report a page through the contact form.

Not medical advice

Traceroute stores and displays what you record. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, it is not a medical device, and nobody monitors it. Calculated values are arithmetic on your readings, and device data may be inaccurate. Do not use Traceroute for emergencies; call 911.

Your AI agent

Your AI agent is provided by another company, such as OpenAI or Anthropic, under its own terms. We are not responsible for what it does with data it reads, or for what it records on your instructions.

Price

Traceroute is free during the trial and beta. Before we charge anything, we tell you the price and ask you to agree to it.

Ending

You can stop at any time: remove the Traceroute connector from your AI agent, and delete your record. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent the law allows, Traceroute is provided as is, without warranties, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before a claim and $50. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer or privacy law that cannot be waived.

Changes

We notify you by email before a material change takes effect, and ask you to accept it the next time you sign in.
